Sending off the Jade Emperor is also the time 
when all devotees of the temple would come together to participate in the sending off. Today, devotees from as young as less than a year to as old as 100 years old turned up to join in the sending off.

After the sending off, the entourage walked around the "kampong" of Bukit Merah View with a visit to the nearby Lei Yin Temple (dedicated to Xi Tian Niang Niang) before returning back to the tentage. Accompanying the entourage were lions (two pairs), dragon and a set of Green Lions too.
